Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use the ApexCalis app. By using the app you accept them. Apple's standard End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies and prevails where the two conflict.
1. What ApexCalis is
ApexCalis is a training app for calisthenics: programs, courses, timers, a tendon & muscle load estimate, and camera-based form feedback. It is a training guide, not a medical device, and it does not give medical advice.
2. Train responsibly
- Consult a doctor before starting if you have an injury, a medical condition, are pregnant, or are unsure whether intense exercise is right for you.
- Load values, recovery estimates and form scores are approximations from your own logs and a single 2D camera. They can be wrong. Pain, not a number, is your stop signal.
- Advanced skills (planche, front lever, human flag, handstand, muscle-up) carry a risk of injury. You perform them at your own risk, with proper progressions and a safe environment.
3. Your account
An account is optional. If you create one, keep your credentials secure and give us accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete it at any time in the app.
4. Pro subscription
- Pro is an auto-renewing subscription purchased through the App Store. Price and period are shown before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store rules.
- Where offered, a free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends.
5. Community content
If you post in the Arena you must own or have rights to what you post, and you must not post content that is unlawful, harassing, sexual, violent, hateful, misleading, or that infringes others' rights or privacy. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to display your posts within the app. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules. Report and block tools are available in the app.
6. Our content
Programs, courses, texts, videos, graphics and software in ApexCalis are protected by copyright and belong to us or our licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use them within the app. Do not copy, resell or redistribute them.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the app available and improving, but features may change, be added or be removed. Online features depend on third-party services (Apple, Google Firebase) and may be unavailable at times.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ApexCalis is provided “as is”. We are not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from your training or your use of the app, except where caused by our gross negligence or intent. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
9. Termination
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
10. Governing law
Swedish law applies. Disputes are resolved by Swedish courts, unless mandatory consumer law gives you another forum. EU consumers can also use the EU online dispute resolution platform.
